apricity - n. the warmness of the sun in the winter John wanted to run. Bobby was digging too deep and John couldn’t explain why he felt so threatened, despite Bobby’s tone betraying nothing but compassion. He was about seconds from launching himself from the bed, running away, but Bobby’s hand drifted into his eyeline, toward John’s twitching fingers, almost as if to take hold of them. He stopped short, though, hovering near. John took a deep breath and his fidgeting slowed to a stop. He watched Bobby’s hand carefully, unable to decipher what was happening here.
