Fics like Death by Butterflies

Eddie folded his arms and leaned against the counter, wholly charmed by Steve being shy and more than a little intrigued by just what Steve might have dreamed that left him so flustered. “So. You had a dream about me. Got a little spicy. That’s why you’re avoiding me?” “It’s just.” Steve bent over at the waist, hugging his midsection and groaning out loud. “Christ, Eddie. Everything was perfectly fine and whatever was sort of happening between us was fine, it was great and exciting and I was having a lotta fun with you but then I dreamed and-- and--got those thoughts and now--” Eddie waited and Steve mumbled, “Fuckinbutterflieswhenyoulookatme.” “What was that?” Eddie bent forward, eyes wide and a smile stretching goofy at his mouth. “What was that? What do you get when I look at you?”
