Fics like dragon [part-time matchmaker, full-time cat]

“You are killing me, you little menace,” Steve tells Dragon one night while Eddie’s using the bathroom. “Why do you like Eddie so much, huh? I mean, sure, he’s funny and he’s nice, but it’s not like you can understand what he says, you don’t speak English.” Dragon meows indignantly at him from her place on Steve’s lap, slow-blinking at him. “Yeah, yeah, I see your point. Eddie is pretty great,” Steve mutters. Dragon yawns and starts making biscuits on his thighs, then purrs. or: steve's cat gets along with no one but steve—that is, until she meets eddie for the first time.
