Fics like The Customer

“Hey, Gorgeous, I need a coffee and something edible, I’m not picky but if it has something in it that can technically be called fruit, I’ll love you forever.” Steve almost ran through the closed door. Nat had a bad day today and the poor schmock with the cocky tone might or might not be an asshole but either way this shouldn’t get him killed. He was able to stop enough to open the door before actually running right through it when he froze. “Cacao is technically a fruit and it’s called a bean so I’d say it's also a vegetable.” Bucky said, standing behind the counter, humor dancing over his words. “You, sir, are a genius.” The customer said, matching Bucky’s grin. —— Steve and his team try to find their way after getting back into civilian life - by running a bakery. That would have been troublesome enough without a customer coming in and throwing Steve for a loop. Idiots in love!
