Fics like Eclipse

Muu's smile has a predatory edge. "But be warned. If I wanted something, I'd get it." "And what exactly could you want from me?" Rei asks challengingly. Muu takes a step back, but it's not a sign of Rei's triumph. She just giggles in amusement. "Touché. There's nothing special about you. They do say absence makes the heart grow fonder, Rei-chan, but your tactics fail on me~" Or: Kusunoki Muu is unique in many ways. She is perfect and sweet, like ice cream on a late afternoon in the summer. Rei, on the other hand, isn't interesting at all. While Muu is beautiful and warm, like the sun, Rei, trapped in her orbit, depends on her light but remains out of reach - isolated and yearning, like the distant moon. Still, she is blinded by the rays, unable to see the shadows that Muu casts. But as the old story goes, anyone who flies too close to the sun is doomed to fall. What happens when Rei sees beyond Muu's brightness? And what will it take for the moon to dethrone the sun?
