Fics like Who am I to say that the memory won't fade

Sonic was acting weird. Ever since they’d left Amy’s birthday party and returned to Tails’ workshop in Mystic Ruins, Tails had noticed Sonic was... off. No, not even after - he’d noticed even during the party he’d been a little spacey. But now, Sonic was holed up in his room, and Tails had no idea what was even keeping him busy. He hadn’t even gone on a run, and that was a red flag. And the fact that he’d stayed in one place for this long... Yeah, something was definitely up. --- Sonic's been having some memory problems since the whole Starfall Island fiasco - but he's sure its fine, right? But when he forgets Amy's birthday cake... its the last straw.
