Scylla was named after a monster; it’s only natural that she became one. She wonders if her parents knew, all those 20 years ago. She wonders if they knew what she would become, if they took one look at her and just knew. If they saw what she truly was deep down and so they named her accordingly. There’s no point in wondering. It isn’t as if she can ask. All Scylla can do is act on her namesake, live up to the destiny that was predetermined for her. All she can do is destroy everything she touches until there is nothing left; nothing left of the world, and nothing left of her. or: scylla, and forgiveness.
