Fics like What the Cat Dragged Out

Slider and Ice and just wanted a quiet evening at the O Club before the stress of Top Gun. All they wanted was to get a drink, check out the competition, and relax. But then there was this kid, in a white tshirt— Slider grabbed his pilot’s arm, intent to point out the odd behavior, only to witness another pilot snatch the kid by the collar of his shirt, effectively scruffing him like a kitten. The burly pilot and a group of several other aviators then escorted the kid out into the night. “What was that?” Ice muttered, confusion evident. “Are we going to find out or—-“ “Did that look friendly to you, because it sure didn’t to me…” Kazansky asked, moving towards the exit at a brisker pace. “C’mon, let’s see what sort of trouble the kid got himself into.”
