Fics like not for anybody else besides you

Soon after everyone had left, their light, giggly conversation descended into silence. The silence was comfortable and amiable - the sort of satisfied silence that came when their hearts were full and their stomachs were full and the night was full - until Alec felt Bryson shift slightly, taking his weight off of his shoulder which he'd been leaning into. He turned to look at him, curious, and suddenly his teammate looked impossibly small and vulnerable. Bryson had been sitting the same way all night, his head tucked against Alec's neck, his knees pulled up to his chest, but now he was staring at the ground and fidgeting with his hands and he looked tiny. "Hey, Bryson," Alec ventured, his voice a little clumsy from sleepiness and celebration. "You okay?" Bryson refused to make eye contact, instead picking resolutely at some invisible blemish on his hand. "Do you guys love me?"
