Fics like A Crimson Vow

Raphael may not be a Planeswalker, but he does have means to occasionally travel between planes. He invites Astarion to a world the likes of which he is sure the vampire would adore. And perhaps, never want to leave. But he requires a special guest and sends Astarion to acquire one the way Cazador once did. He uses his own subtle machinations in hopes of securing an asset he's been planning to acquire. Note: I don't think a reader unfamiliar with MtG or Innistrad should have much trouble reading this since you'd be experiencing it the same way as Astarion, if that is of any concern.
