Fics like Catch My Eye, Catch My Heart

“You know if you stare any longer you’re going to be drooling.” Obi-Wan ignored Quin as he looked down at his phone, focusing intently on it as he changed his music to something with a quicker beat as he jabbed his thumb at the button to turn up the speed on his treadmill, ignoring the heat in his cheeks as Quin stared at him with a knowing look. “He’s like fifty, Obes,” Quin informed him—as if Obi-Wan wasn’t aware that the man was definitely older than he was—and Obi-Wan huffed. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Obi-Wan muttered, “And also, he’s forty-two.” Obi-Wan knows that it's rude to stare when people are just trying to work out—and God knows that he's judged others harshly for doing the very same to him before he'd found himself in an expensive building with its own gym—but there's something about the man that the office had dubbed 'hot divorcee' that makes something stir in Obi-Wan's gut. Something that he definitely shouldn't follow, no matter how tempting it is. Which works, until it doesn't.
