Fics like When You Say Nothing, You Miss the Understanding

It was at that moment that his heart had sunk. There was only one way that Boba could have moved with his mind. “Jetii,” Jango choked out in realization as he looked up at his son’s chubby face. The boy was beaming at him, clearly proud of his newfound skill and Jango felt like he might be sick. Jango thinks of the Jedi as child snatchers but when Boba's gift starts affecting him in negative ways Jango knows he's got no other option but to get them involved. Scared that he might lose his son he requests the help of the Jedi -without telling them what's going on- in exchange for information that he knows they can't pass up. Obi-Wan knows that Jango wants something. Assuming the man wants him for his ability to have children, Obi-Wan accepts his deal in order to save the Republic that he has always fought tirelessly to defend, at what seems like the expense of his own well-being. Armed with misunderstandings and a lack of communication the two of them slowly fall into step with each other and find love.
