Fics like without words, I'll still find you

'He’s your friend. Our friend. Best friend.' The word didn’t mean much to Zhang Qiling, but that didn’t matter. He hadn’t needed Pangzi to give him a name to go with the bright, smiling face shining out of that photo. Zhang Qiling already knew it. Wu Xie. Of all the words Zhang Qiling might have known and lost over his long lifetime, he knew that one—that name—and he knew what it meant to him. He didn’t have the words to quantify that meaning any more than he had them to describe the familiar weighted feeling pooling in his belly and trying to burst his chest open right now in this moment, but he knew it just the same. Zhang Qiling will always know Wu Xie, and no matter how many memories he loses now or in the future, he'll always find his way back to him.
