Fics like Guard Dog

When a Dæmon settles it’s a fucking Event - capital E - mostly because Hawkins is the most boring town in existence and nobody has anything better to talk about. So when Steve Harrington shows up in November of 1984 followed not by his assumed-settled Irish setter (beautiful, obedient, and stupid) but by a fuckoff massive livestock guardian dog with paws the size of dinner plates and honey-gold eyes that seem to peer into your soul, it’s all anyone at Hawkins High can talk about for the rest of the month.
