The day before Eddie had to leave to go home again, Steve cried. It was a secret that Steve kept close to his heart, that he knew Eddie Munson, that he'd known him long before Vecna, or the Upside Down, or even Nancy Wheeler. To him, Eddie would always be summer sunshine and ice-cream melting down his hand and sweet laughter in the shade of the woods. It was just a shame that Eddie seemed so determined to forget.
