Fics like Racetrack Higgins, the Newsie formally known as Mouthpiece.

Mouthpiece disappeared from Upper West Manhattan without warning and without trace. Now Diesel has spotted him in Midtown and the Jets are determined to find out where he's been for the past year. Racetrack Higgins appeared at the Manhattan Newsie lodging house fresh out of the Refuge and searching for a new life. Now his past has come knocking and he's determined to protect his new family from who he used to be. AKA: The Jets just want Mouthpiece to come home, but they come face to face with a very protective Racetrack instead [Not abandoned I promise, college just sucks xx]
