Fics like The Very Best Mom In New York City

“DAMNIT JACK!” Jack seemed a bit taken back at Race’s sudden yell. “Why can’t you just let us help ya? We want to, we really do! You are one of my best friends! You take care of us. Every! Day! You is like a mom to most of these kids. You do everything for us! Why can't you let us help you too for once!” The anger seemed to drain from Race’s body as he stepped forward to wrap his arms around Jack in a tight hug. “I love ya, Jackie. Even the best need help sometimes.” ---OR--- 5 times Davey witnessed how much of a mom friend Jack truly is + 1 time the newsies showed Jack that doesn't mean they won't take care of him too
