Fics like To the man I knew before

*Spoilers for the end of Final Fantasy XVI* Clive woke up, he hadn't expected that. Last he remembered was shattering the last mothercrystal and slowly turning to stone on the beach, the moon shining down on him. He had woken up in his younger body, in the aftermath of Phoenix Gate. He had retained his eikonic powers, but now he was young, strong, lithe. And Branded. This time around though, he vowed to use his knowledge to escape earlier, to do more, to save those he couldn't before. But while still in the service of the army, he hadn't expected to be sent to Waloed. To go up against Lord Commander Telamon in his prime. And to be captured.
