Fics like butterfly kisses

Ellie runs away from Joel and their life in Jackson, believing herself to be cursed. Afraid she'll lose what matters most, she decides to just leave first to protect the family she doesn't think she deserves. A brush with death out on the road and a familiar stranger help Ellie find her way home. Back to Joel. (Or Ellie doesn't believe in spirits and guardian angels, but something saved her and she needs to know why.)
