Fics like Free Fall

When his tribe gets concerned about a child raised by dragons, a so-called Wildfang, being a bad omen, Hiccup is happy to help. Really. He isn’t using it as an excuse to get out of a tough council meeting. But the boy they find trapped in a dragon trapper camp with Stormfly isn’t what he seems. What has happened to this heirloom-stealing, dragon-speaking, sword-fighting kid, or rather, what went wrong? Hiccup only wants to find his friends, but when his leg gets mauled by a dragon trap he is captured. The upside? These people don’t know who he is. When a bunch of dragon riders help him, he gives them a fake name. But the sword he grabbed to defend himself is not only a sword, but a family heirloom- and the owner wants it back.
