Fics like Unknowable

Surge and Kit wake up for the first time, but Starline's not there to meet them. In fact, no one's there to meet them. In fact, there's practically no one at all... Sonic and Silver missed the grab for the last Chaos emerald and now the Metal Virus has all but taken over the world. Armed with powers that they don't know how to use and no memory at all, Surge and Kit must rely on each other, and the few survivors remaining to understand their place in the world...and maybe even save it. The final result...who knows?
