Fics like heaven is not fit to house a love like you and i

Jaehan and his friends disappeared just as fast as they’d come around. When the parade came to its end and people were dispersing, it felt like the group of them had vanished out of thin air, leaving Hwichan alone all over again, in a place he wasn’t sure he was ready to be in just yet. But he forced his feet to move under the park arch, and into the crowd of people once again. There were dozens of festival tents and shops and food trucks, and Hwichan hadn’t found a place he felt was acceptable to start, so he ended up sitting down on a dry spot of pavement. He brought a water bottle with him - one of the smarter things he’d packed - and he needed it by that time. It certainly was a hot day, but he didn’t expect it to be this hot. The shade he’d found didn’t seem to be doing him all too much good. “I know practically every queer person in this city, and I haven’t seen you yet. What’s your name?”
