Fics like some sweet gravity

AU. Maynard and Danny are soulmates, brought together by fate. But as the universe gives, the universe also takes. Danny burrows his face into the slope of Maynard’s shoulder, nose buried in his hair. The slow rhythm of his breaths soothes Maynard’s racing heartbeat. He closes his eyes and focuses on the warm points of contact where Danny’s skin touches his own. This is my soulmate. Maybe, after this long, Maynard can be okay with that.
