"Hello? Is this Doongie-ya's father?" Minho paused. "It is… " he muttered quietly, a little skeptical about what was to come after. "Ah, can you come to the school to pick your children up? We need to talk to you—" Minho felt guilt streak his world black as words fell from his mouth before he could stop them. "I have a work meeting today, around that time." "Sir, it's… important. It's regarding Doongie-ya's behavior, and partly about Dori-ya too." Minho froze, his hand pinching the bridge of his nose. It was the first call he had received, or maybe the first call he had even picked up. He used to get these calls before, about his sons getting out of line from time to time, and relentless complaints from other parents that he just let his phone spew as he worked. Or: Minho's a workaholic who doesn't realize how much his relationship with his kids has deteriorated until he gets a call from his kids' teachers. With their help, he is able to deconstruct the wall that had been built - however, the wall between him and his children wasn't the only wall that was lowered.
