The small tray went into the oven and she turned her attention to the finished batch after throwing away the bags the dough had been divided into. Sparkle gel, edible glitter and sprinkles finished those in time for the rest to come out and get the same treatment. Half a dozen slid carefully onto a plate once dry. She took a deep breath and nodded to herself in confirmation. She was going to get answers. Ichigo wasn’t okay, whatever anyone tried to tell her. A plate of cookies might not be much compared to what he was going through, but the time and effort required should at least get him talking. That was the trick, with Ichigo.
