There's a prophecy as old as Hyrule itself, one of a princess with a goddess' blood running through her veins and a knight wielding a legendary sword. It's a story every child grows up hearing, and one historians have studied for generations. This is that story, but there's a bit of a snag, according to the King. Hyrule's ruling family, in times of prophecy, bears a girl with the goddess' blood, it has been that way for many millennia. Why then, this time, is there twins?
