Fics like love is complicated

She’s not—it’s not even remotely fair to say she’s in love with Rhaenyra, just because the last time she was so bone-deep exhausted after they’d wrapped production she'd had them drop her at Rhaenyra’s flat and told her just hold me, hold me, make it okay. Or because Rhaenyra had stayed with her, in the hospital. Or because she'd made it okay. “Alicent,” Laena moans. “You couldn’t be more in love with her if you were characters in Notting Hill.” (a modern AU friends-to-lovers where it is completely okay to kiss your friend at a gala and openly beef with her ex and cuddle in her bed because that is completely platonic and not complicated and she's completely not in love with you)
