Fics like Conditional Interest

Kokichi shrugs, leaning into the couch. “It could be fun, but I hate kids. My parents were killed by a kid, so I’ve been jaded ever since.” “H-Huh?” “Kidding! But I’ve never celebrated Children’s Day, so it doesn’t mean all that much to me.” Kokichi dips his spoon in the rice and takes a bite, chewing and swallowing before he continues, “Still, if you want to…” “You’re too polite, man,” Kaito huffs, dropping onto the couch at Kokichi’s side. “I mean, except when you’re lying to me about how your parents died. That’s not cool.” His cheeks puff out, and Kokichi beams until he can visibly watch the indignation disappear from Kaito’s features, replaced by a light flush. He’s easily embarrassed. “Maybe we can watch something you like. What’s that show you’re into again? Dangan something?” Oh, god. --- Kokichi and Kaito finally get a chance to hang out outside of school. Figuring out what to do is a struggle though… until Kaito pitches an embarrassing suggestion.
