Fics like Rain in the Neighborhood

It's raining. Shivering in the cold of the storm as you seek warmth under a red-tinted tree. You didn't really expect for it to rain so suddenly today, especially while the sun was shining ever so brightly just a few hours ago the moment you woke up to gather yourself some items from Howdy's bugdega. You've already been stranded under this sturdy and forgiving tree for almost an hour now but it can only do so much for you. Your hair was wet, soaking from the pounding rain, your rainbow sweater heavy from the captured droplets, your ascot ribbon hanging loosely from its knot, your pants clinging to your legs much tighter, your shoes all damp from the intrusion of the weather, and your body yearning to just go home.
