Fics like Been Dying to Ask

Dark timeline where Ted goes to military school, and they lose touch until Ted reappears 20 years later. Mostly takes place during one long night of two old friends getting to know each other again, talking through some trauma and seeing if there is a way to rebuild. Sort of a My Dinner with Andre (1981) type deal but gay and with a pool-based game of questions.
