Robbie’s not really drunk enough for his tongue to be so loose, but once the ball is rolling in his mind, he can’t seem to stop himself. He twists a bit on the couch so that he can see James’s face clearly and asks, “Have you ever had a friend with benefits, then?” James shakes his head by simply rolling it back and forth on the back of the couch, his neck still boneless and loose. “No. I’d need a friend first.”
