Fics like Vita Nuova

"Midway along the journey of our life I woke to find myself in a dark wood, for I had wandered off from the straight path." Dante. The Divine Comedy: Inferno. Canto I, l 1-3 As Spring dawns in Oxford, Robert Lewis teeters on the brink of New Life; respected retirement, new relationship, the prospect of seeing his children and protege set out on paths of their own.
