Fics like King Midas With a Curse

Jason found himself completely mesmerized like a moth to a flame, staring with his mouth half-open and his drink sweating condensation until his palm was wet. He found his body moving involuntarily, his legs tensing and his entire back leaning against the hard frame of the chair, as the dancer caught his eyes–still, he couldn’t look away. The blue eyes were chilling and bright, captivating in their ferocity and Jason finally shut his mouth, then swallowed hard against his dry throat as the dancer’s eyebrows rose, regarding Jason as if he were a lone gazelle out in the open, just waiting to be pounced upon.
