Fics like lucky

James, My name is Jason Newsted. 25 years ago, you picked me up at a diner in Kingman, Arizona, dropped me off into the desert, slashed my face, and left me there. I testified against you in your capitol murder case. I know that you remember those events quite well. All these years I have thought of those events that occurred between you and I. About what brought you and I together, and why what happened had happened. You have three months before the State of California executes you. I want to make sure that there is nothing about everything that happened left unsaid.
