Shawn Spencer isn't superstitious. To him, spirits are nothing but bullshit he calls upon when dramatically solving cases. Then two of them save him from a speeding bullet. Following this near death experience, Shawn learns not only that ghosts are real, but that they want him to solve their murders. (At least Gus gets to say I told you so).
