Fics like Let’s Get Outta This Town Tonight

After the wrap-up of another exhausting performance season at the International, Elvis is having one of his worst weeks in recent memory, and ditching his Vegas entourage to go undercover for an afternoon of desperately needed peace and quiet doesn't quite go the way he hopes. Until you -- a gutsy, free-spirited stranger -- help him escape from a mob of overenthusiastic fans, and you both decide to get the heck out of dodge for a multi-day adventure that neither of you will ever forget. Can a shift in scenery and company help Elvis change the trajectory of his increasingly challenging life and career? i.e. Elvis receives a great kindness from strangers, instead of what's usually the other way around. A fix-it fic of sorts. __ “Have you given anymore thought about where I can take you?” you ask. “Yeah,” Elvis says surprisingly easily at that. “Anywhere but here.”
