Fics like Fever

“Why’re you here?” slurs out of Steve. “Robin called, freaked out, said you weren’t answering. Begged me to check in on you.” Steve hums a little confused. “She said that if there was something bad that you wouldn’t want Nancy to see, so she asked me. Maybe not ideal but I’m here.” Munson wipes at Steve’s face, and he’s too tired to feel embarrassed at the realization that he’s cleaning up any leftover vomit. His hand is cleaned last, with Munson fishing out a first aid kit and properly cleaning and wrapping the long slice down the middle of his palm. Steve wishes that there wasn’t this tension between them right now. Wishes that for a few moments they could just be not awful or awkward with each other. --- Steve is sick and Robin's out of town. So she calls Eddie to take care of Steve, not knowing that Steve hasn't talked to Eddie since Eddie woke up in the hospital.
