Fics like Anomaly of Thra

Helen went from being next to the river at her family’s cabin to a situation that seemed like it was right out of a fantasy novel. Her studies had been going well, yet she couldn't help but yearn for something more as she got lost in the pages. Now she’s stranded in a strange world, with even stranger little people. Dragged in to cure a poisoned Thra, visions begin bombarding her mind: corrosive violet bursting up through bloodied ground and pale, wild eyes. After her touch heals an injured sifan, Helen’s rescuers bring her to the Mainland to seek the wisdom of the creatures they call ‘skeksis’. The road home feels even more impossible as she catches the attention of the Lords of the Crystal and their ailing Emperor. Centuries of dark secrets fester in the Castle’s walls, and the course of love will be far from smooth. Change is coming, but at what cost?
