Fics like Never Meet Your Hero's (They'll Never Be What You Think)

Tim always heard that you should never meet your heroes. Apparently, they would almost always disappoint you. But, Tim always thought that his hero was the exception. Tim remembered a time when he would've been ecstatic to be in the presence of Jason Todd. But, that was before. Jason Todd, the version Tim admired at least, was dead. In his place was the Red Hood. And, if anyone knew anything about the Red Hood, it’s that he hated the newest Robin with every fiber of his being. These days, the very thought of having to be in his very presence would send Tim spiraling. Not that he would ever tell that to Dick, or God forbid Bruce. The pair wouldn't admit it, well Dick might actually, but they desperately wanted Jason to come back into the family. Both put up a front like they hated the Red Hood, but Tim is more perceptive than they give him credit for. But that’s okay. Tim knows that he is an afterthought. A replacement. ---- In other words, Tim has a very, very bad day. (Spoilers, Red Hood shows up).
