Fics like To Oaths Broken and Knights Who Come Home

“Don’t put me first.” Jade asks because there’s still got to be an order to things. “Jade...” “That was a condition. Agree with it or my answer will be no.” “Fine.” God— Kit’s lying. She’s fucking lying and Jade can’t seem to bring herself to care. Kit is selfish and arrogant and her presence has drained the fight from Jade. It beckons her home, invites her somewhere pleasant and safe and wonderful. — or; the world hasn't changed and life is not perfect and sometimes a princess and her knight can't be together. this starts directly after ep.8 and is the manifestation of the grief that I felt over willow ending and the perpetual brain rot that has been sitting with me ever since.
