Fics like Do Not Forsake Me (I'm Trying)

The first time Peter remembered laying tefillin was with Uncle Ben. He was fifteen and had just come out as a man to his aunt and uncle. It had taken some convincing but he remembered being woken up in time for the morning prayers and his uncle instructed him on how to wrap the straps to make the ‘shin’ on his arm, wrapped the tallis over his shoulders, and he prayed as a man would for the first time. He rode that high for months afterward. A story of if Peter Parker were an observant Jew, written by an moderately observant Jewish author.
