Fics like written in the stars

TK walks along the sidewalk in a hot Austin toward what is meant to be his ‘fresh start’. So far, he’s too hot, though he’s still wearing his favorite pink hoodie, and he already hates the sight of the massive building in front of him. He wishes he could go back to New York. As he gets closer, it gets busier, and though it seems expected—more teenagers heading towards the school on the first day back? Yeah, of course, that’s going to happen—TK hates it. Everyone is new and different, and he swears they’re all staring at him despite the fact this place has hundreds of students who would not be able to tell if he’s the new kid or not. It just feels like everyone is watching. — After a forced move to Travis Heights High, TK is left to navigate not only a new school but a new life in Austin.
