Fics like you are the space that's in between

“Geralt? How many toes do you think I should get ready to say my goodbyes to? All ten? Five? Three? I’m really not optimistic enough to say one, so you better call in some favours and get me my toes.” Geralt grinned. “They’ll grow back.” “They most certainly will not,” Jaskier replied, stomping his foot on the snow. It didn’t have the impact he probably wanted. “So you’re going to have to call lovely Triss and get her to magic me some toes.” “Triss is busy.” “Well, how is a man meant to live without his toes? The cruelty of it, Geralt, really. Depriving the world of my beautiful – “ “Stinking.” “Beautiful toes. A true tragedy. I shall write ballads bemoaning their loss – " Or, Geralt invites Jaskier to Kaer Morhen for the winter, and between hot tub games and too much drinking, feelings are talked about, to Jaskier's shock. Set some time after canon, but with tweaks here and there for storytelling purposes.
