Fics like Call me Dara

T'Nedara looked like her mother for the most part, Vulcan physiology was dominant. But everyone that knew her and her father well, told her she took after him when he was younger. She had to take their word for that, as she only knew her father as an old man. He could be great fun and told great stories, but he did not have the enthusiastic and ever moving energy he apparently had in his youth. Needless to say, looking like her Vulcan mother, people, both Vulcans and Humans, often misjudged T’Nedara. Today was going to be no different and instead of fighting it, she had simply decided to go along with the misconception. She was beginning orientation at StarFleet Academy today. It was an illogical waste of time. She had practically grown up on the Academy grounds, her family home located only a few blocks away and her father a retired professor. But Star Fleet had made her do many ridiculous and illogical things in her short 19 years, this was no different.
