Fics like Sometimes quiet is violent

" 'It's on the- on the news,' Phillip finally stammers, voice wet and trembling. 'An explosion. And they don't know if there are any victims yet and the police aren't saying anything,' he stops to catch his break and then ploughs on, 'and I kept calling but it kept going to voicemail and-' 'I know, darling, I know,' Ben says soothingly. 'I'm sorry, I had left it in my room. I'm so sorry!' " --- OR: unbeknownst to Blanc, Philip is awake in the dead of the night and learns about what happened on the island from the news; luckily, the radio silence doesn't last for too long, but just long enough for him to freak out a little.
