Fics like i wanted to manipulate you for money but now i dont... kiss me?

Ransom didn’t have any strong opinions towards the nurse. As much as he and Harlan butt heads, Marta took care of him well and gave him a friend. For the creator of the Thrombey family, someone that cared about him was hard to come by. So, yeah. Even though Marta was a naive, soft-spoken, timid doe that he could easily step on, choke, or destroy, Ransom didn’t hate her. He almost did. Especially when Harlan informed him of her sole inheritance of his entire will. But then that old coot said something too intriguing for Ransom to ignore. “You know, Marta beats me at GO more than you ever have.” *** Ransom decides to find out what's so special about Marta before he manipulates her for his inheritance money. He didn't think he would find out that she is the sweetest person to ever live. Falling in love wasn't part of the plan, right?
