Fics like Burning destiny

"My child, what have you done?" "Father, please, I beg you." "You have dishonoured me, our house and yourself. I cannot let the town know of this, it will be our ruin." "I do not want to go there, father. I beg you." Even when the priest turned his touch away from you, as the men forced you into the carriage where two nuns waited with ropes to tie you in place, you continued to scream and beg for help or mercy. Neither was granted. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Or You met Eivor in your village church, when the Norsemen made deals with the Saxon priest, and meeting her gave you the answers to your true desires and feelings. With your heart broken by a vile deception and living in an age that was not merciful to those who, like you, did not love according to the orders of the church, you found yourself face to face with the gates of hell on earth. Six years have passed and freedom comes to your hand when an attack sweeps through your town. You did not expect it, you did not even think it, but before you once again stood the woman you had loved and who had broken your heart... or so you thought.
