Fics like The Silence of Snow

It is Jimin and Jeongguk’s first winter together as a bonded pair- as friends and lovers, as a witch and familiar. November wanes and December rises, geese fly south above bare limbed trees, it is cold and calm and quiet, and Jimin is waiting for the first snow of the season. But there is much to be done in preparation for Yule. There are potions to brew, trees to decorate, crowns to wear, and nightmares to fight. There are quiet whispers from the woods of things that watch and wait, and nights to spend at hearth and home. Or, a small glimpse into the lives of a witch and the cat who claimed him, a portrait edged with frost, the light of the moon shining on snow, a fox slipping into shadow, here and gone. It is the last fading echoes of an old song, the briefest touch of fingertips to skin, a fleeting sigh, a passing smile. It is the wind in the woods, whispering of things to come…
