You might think that for a witch like Jeongguk, Halloween would be his favorite time of year, but you’d be wrong. Jeongguk hates the commercialization of the holiday, from the inflatable yard decor to the tacky costumes and everything in between, he finds it offensive and tasteless- too bad his new neighbor has other ideas… Enter Park Jimin, cat hybrid and baker extraordinaire, freshly moved to the tiny town of Falls Creek after a nasty break up. He loves this time of year, the festivals, the decor, the pumpkin flavored everything; he’s determined to make the most of his move and his new life in the small rural community he chose, starting with introducing himself to his new neighbor, who isn’t anything like he expected. In fact- he’s kind of intimidating, and considering Jimin’s history, he’s more than a little reluctant to breach the divide between them. Too bad fate has other plans. Or, a tale of changing winds and visions, of rings around the moon and whispers from the woods. A tale of falling apart and coming together, of magic and foxes and owls and hounds, of witches with hearts of gold and the cats that claim them.
