Fics like Shattered Sunsets

Let's play 'what if'. What if the actions in part one of "Bringers of Wonder" were not alien illusions, but a rescue ship has really arrived from Earth with a way to bring Alphans home, back to Earth in their own time? And while we're at it, if John is seeing Jelly monsters instead of friends and relatives from Earth, what will happen to him when the Alphans return to Earth? This is a very short taste of what might await on Earth.
